Woodruff Place, Indianapolis, Indiana visual collection [graphic], 1875-1980.

The majority of the materials in the collection were collected by Paul Richardson during his eight year stay in Woodruff Place in the 1970s. The collection is comprised of copy prints of old photographs, some original photographs taken by Walter N. Carpenter, printed manuscript materials and negatives.

James O. Woodruff laid out Woodruff Place between 1872 and 1873, one and one-half miles east of downtown Indianapolis.
